Research Network Rudolf Otto

Since the Rudolf Otto Congress held in Marburg in 2012, ten years have passed, which also marked the 100th anniversary of "The Idea of the Holy" and the 150th birthday of the Marburg theologian and philosopher of religion. Since then, a variety of research projects exploring the work and impact of Otto have been advanced both in the German-speaking world and internationally. To encourage discussion among the diverse ideas and perspectives, all interested individuals are warmly invited to join and participate in the network.

The first meeting of the Rudolf Otto Research Network will take place digitally on July 5th, 2024. This provides an opportunity for participants to get to know each other better and engage in in-depth discussions about project presentations, research ideas, and future activities.

During the network meeting, attendees will have the option to present current or upcoming research projects in short presentations lasting 5-8 minutes. If you are interested, we kindly ask for timely registration by June 18th, 2024, along with brief information about yourself and some keywords about the topic. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for a shared discussion.
