Postdoc Position and Two PhD Positions at the Research Project "Beyond Causal Exclusion"

"Beyond Causal Exclusion: New Challenges for Multi-Level Causal Models" is a research project funded by the German Research Foundation and the Swiss National Science Foundation. The project is based in Bern, Switzerland, and Hamburg, Germany. The PIs of the project are Vera Hoffmann-Kolss (Bern) and Thomas Kroedel (Hamburg). The aim of the project is to develop a theory of causal modeling that can adequately describe causal structures that span multiple levels (such as the physical, biological, and psychological levels).

The project is inviting applications for the following positions:

- one three-year postdoc position at Hamburg

- one three-year PhD position at Hamburg

- one three-year PhD position at Bern
