1-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Ethics & Political Philosophy at the Université de Fribourg

Applications are invited for a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship (66%) in ethics and political philosophy at the Université de Fribourg, Switzerland.

Requirements:

• PhD degree in philosophy.
• Very good knowledge of both English and either French or German.
• Research project in ethics or political philosophy (broadly construed).

Responsibilities:

• Teaching one semester-long BA-seminar either in French or in German.
• Supporting administrative tasks, research activities and teaching of the chair for ethics and political philosophy.

Salary range:
CHF 51,288.66 -- CHF 61,948.46 per annum, depending on prior experience.

Duration of employment:
1st September 2024 -- 31st August 2025.
