The third issue of the magazine Außeruniversitäre Aktion deals with the topic of speaking politically; with the various forms of striving for protection and solidarity, i.e., forms of standing up for one another in the face of threatening, life-consuming structures and political actions. In doing so, we are guided by the words of Davi Kopenawa, which were brought to the white people through the painstaking and friendly work of Bruce Albert. They help the white people, because, according to Davi Kopenawa, they only “look closely at the paper skins on which they have drawn their words.” He goes on to say: „If they do not follow their lines, their thinking goes astray. It remains full of forgetfulness and they then become ignorant.“ (Ibid. p. 93.) We are therefore looking for contributions that address the topic of political speech and, for good reasons, depart from the prescribed forms of academic discourse. This means that even the written word, as the unquestioned standard of knowledge production, is not limiting for the contributions; the form therefore remains free. Anything can be submitted, from images to conversations, performances, and texts of various genres.
