Emancipating Sex?

An interdisciplinary and international conference is about to take place May 30 and 31 at the Department of Cultural Studies at Humboldt University Berlin, titled “Emancipating Sex? Theory and Politics for Deconstructing Power Relations." The conference will explore the possibilities and challenges of emancipation and sexuality at the intersection of Critical Theory and Cultural Studies. It will also serve as the founding event for a new Berlin-based platform for Love Sex and Body-positive Research.

The event is open to anyone with an academic interest in sexuality, regardless of status or academic level. No registration is required, and you are warmly welcome to drop in for individual sessions.
