CfP Special Issue "Superintelligent Robots"

I am delighted to announce that I will be guest editing a special issue on Superintelligent Robots with David Gunkel (Northern Illinois University) for Philosophical Studies.

Description

The development of superintelligent robots presents both significant and timely challenges that demand thorough philosophical analysis and discussion. These robots, with their potential to surpass human intelligence and capabilities, pose novel questions across various domains of philosophy, including ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of mind. This special issue aims to consolidate research on these topics, providing a comprehensive framework for understanding the philosophical dimensions of superintelligent robots and proposing solutions to the complex issues they present.
